Sunset and Blue Hour is one of the most magical times for photos. The sun creates a magical golden effect as it sets, and the city lights start to glow one by one. Exactly at this time when it’s not entirely dark yet but the sun has set, the magical colors of the city appear. It’s the artist’s dream to capture this enchanting moment. To catch the golden hour you should start 1 hour before sunset for golden light day photos. The magical time of blue hour begins right at the time of sunset and lasts for about 20 minutes before the darkness of the evening sets down. The lights and colors become so dreamy and magical, the perfect backdrop for glamorous photos. We did a photoshoot with the beautiful Alina right at sunset in Vienna and following the blue hour and I love the results. The combination of sparkling dress with the purple-pink shadows of the lights of the Operahouse at sunset is just perfection. And this is by far the most magical spot for sunset/blue hour photoshoot as the colors of the Operahouse become magical at this time.
