Spring is a magical time in Vienna, each month a new flower blooms and makes the city fragrant with inspiration, optimism, and joy. First are the cherry blossoms, followed by magnolias, and then the dreamy lilacs take over, usually around April. This year again the lilacs bloomed much earlier than expected as we experienced summer temperatures in the beginning of April.
If you take a walk in the city you can’t miss the stunning lilac bushes at Heldenplatz with the fairytale-like view of the Hofburg palace the square turns into a meeting point for picnics, friends enjoying the sun and the smell of flowers, and people just stopping to take a selfie with the beautiful lilacs.
Of course, we planned a dreamy photoshoot in this beautiful place and it is one of my favorite spring photoshoots so far. I think the key to having great results from your photoshoot is the preparation. We had a mood board, carefully chosen outfit, and professional makeup, and the photos turned out so dreamy and magical, indeed they make you feel like transported in a fairytale.
